Project: Personal Brand Color Palette Design

Requirements

Define a core brand color for your personal brand identity. If you are stuck, list some words about yourself as a designer and a person. How would you describe yourself? If you can’t describe yourself, ask your friends for their thoughts.

Use color psychology to determine a brand color based on the keywords you come up with.

Then expand on the core brand color. Add a few tints and shades to support your brand color. Optionally, you can also use complementary color harmony to create an accent/highlight color to pop against your brand color.

Finally, add a few neutral colors, such as black, white, gray, to your palette.

Submission

After you created the color palette, turn that into a brand color guide, such as this one.

Export your brand color palette and brand guide to either PDF, JPG or PNG

Create a Figma account if you don’t already have one or don’t use it for design. You can drop your exported file to Figma and generate a sharable link. If you use Figma for design, you don’t need to export it – just share the link.

Please save your Figma link for feedback in your next review session.
