Color in Headings Typography

When we style headings, we have a couple of different options when it comes to color. We can use a brand color for emphasis because headings are inherently bold and trying to attract extra attention from readers.

We can also maintain neutral colors if we don’t want the extra attention to the headings, especially if you want a clean and simple look.

There are designers who choose to use two different colors for headings to emphasize certain keywords, usually using neutral colors for the majority of the heading typography and a colorful brand color to highlight certain words. This is a choice that the designer needs to maintain throughout similar levels of headings to make it consistent.
