Exercise 5: Create a Color Moodboard

Using the same Figma file provided, navigate to Exercise 5: Create a Color Moodboard. Follow the instructions listed here:

  • Please create moodboard that reflects a color palette that reflects the provided visual key words
  • You MUST show pieces of design using the color palette you are focusing on in this moodboard
Ex: If you are showcasing a monochromatic blue color palette you must show pieces of design that use a monochromatic blue color palette, NOT images of blue things
  • Select and place your inspiration first, then choose the 3 or 4 hues from your reference to represent your final palette
  • Confirm your final palette by changing the four grey squares in the top center of the board to your chosen palette
  • Find reference on Pinterest, Behance, Dribble, and design blogs referenced in the Moodboarding lecture

After you are finished, be sure to share your Figma link with your instructor so they can review what you’ve done. If you plan to discuss your color exercises in your next session, be prepared to share your screen.
